Indo-Canadian Songstress Neela Unveils Animation Music Video for Latest Single “Forgive”

Mumbai, 18th March 2024: Singer-songwriter Neela, has released her animation music video for the latest single, “Forgive” on March 15th. Neela’s latest single delves into the intricate layers of forgiveness and self-worth amidst heartache. Penned and composed by Neela herself, the R&B Soul track promises to captivate audiences with its raw emotion and soulful melodies.

Produced by Juno and Grammy Award winning Akeel Henry and Kevin Ekofo, and mixed & mastered by Colin Leonard at SING Mastering, “Forgive” is a testament to Neela’s evolution as an artist. Infusing soulful raspy vocals with indie-R&B musicality, Neela delivers a performance that is both raw and compelling.

In a remarkable creative endeavor, Neela drew inspiration from her personal experiences of love, heartache, resilience, self-discovery, and forgiveness to craft a visually stunning narrative. The accompanying music video, directed by Purusha Anokhei and Neela, transports viewers on a visual journey through the vibrant landscapes of India, paying homage to Neela’s ancestral roots. They received two prestigious grant awards from MVP Prism and Factor who have supported the making of their animation. Through stunning metaphorical imagery, the video brings to life the song’s themes of self-acceptance and love.
