Mumbai, 23rd October 2026: Amy Winehouse’s landmark album Back To Black has received a star-studded tribute at London’s Roundhouse, bringing together original producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi with a new generation of artists. Held in Camden on October 21, the one-night-only concert celebrated the album’s 20th anniversary, with The Amy Winehouse Band performing the record in full alongside guest vocalists. The event honoured one of the most influential releases in modern British music and the enduring legacy of Winehouse’s songwriting and unmistakable voice.
The tribute featured performances from Corinne Bailey Rae, Jessie Reyez, Jorja Smith, FLO, Yebba, Lianne La Havas, Baby Rose, Nia Smith, Sasha Keable, Skye Newman and Terri Walker. Each artist brought their own interpretation to songs from the album, including Bailey Rae performing the title track, Reyez taking on “Rehab”, FLO delivering “He Can Only Hold Her” and Yebba performing “Love Is a Losing Game”. The evening concluded with the performers joining forces for “Valerie”, the Zutons song that became closely associated with Winehouse’s celebrated cover.

Ronson and Remi led the celebration alongside Winehouse’s longtime musical director Dale Davis and other key collaborators. Reflecting on the milestone, Ronson spoke about how the music created with Winehouse continues to resonate with listeners two decades later. Remi also paid tribute to the singer’s singular talent, spirit and artistic honesty. Originally released on October 27, 2006, Back To Black became a defining album of Winehouse’s career, earning five Grammy Awards and selling more than 25 million copies worldwide.

The anniversary celebrations extend beyond the live performance, with a special reissue of Back To Black arriving on October 23, 2026. The expanded editions include previously unreleased demos, rare B-sides, a live recording from Amsterdam’s Paradiso in 2007, photographs and new liner notes from Ronson and Remi. The Roundhouse concert will also reach audiences beyond London, with a broadcast scheduled on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on October 24, followed by BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds on October 26. Together, the tribute and reissue revisit an album whose influence continues to shape artists and listeners across generations.
