‘Dil Khanjar’ by Rashmeet Kaur, feat. Mir Tawseef is about love, loss, grief & revenge!

Mumbai, 22^nd June 2023: Love, loss, grief and revenge! TM Music’s latest song launched on World Music Day, has all the makings of a haunting melody, with singer Rashmeet Kaur’s mesmerizing vocals and Mir Tawseef’s charming looks leading the way.

‘Dil Khanjar’ is a captivating track that blends an addictive tune with powerful lyrics and an earthy essence. The song explores various shades of love that involve mystery and passion, as well as destiny and desire. There is an ominous sense of vengeance in the track too.

Composed and sung by Rashmeet Kaur, and penned by Sunayana Kachroo, ‘Dil Khanjar’ beautifully blends folk and modern elements together.

Talking about the track, singer and composer Rashmeet Kaur said, “Dil Khanjar explores all shades of love that includes its darker tones. As an artiste, it is always exciting to work on a song that showcases a diverse range of emotions, right from the passion of romance to the grey shades of grief and revenge. Shooting for the music video was also a great experience. Facing the camera in front of Kashmir was truly a moment like no other”.

‘Dil Khanjar’ also boasts of a music video that captures the rousing theme of the tune. Masterfully directed by Danish Renzu, and picturized in the mystical land of Kashmir, the video sees Rashmeet share the screen with Mir Tawseef. With ravishing sights of Kashmir and an array of surreal imagery, the entire music video is a one-of-its-kind visual experience.
