‘The Psy Owl’ a.k.a. Siddhartha Ghosh’s “Kaahe Sataye” is a story of everyone!
Mumbai, 14th October 2022: ‘The Psy Owl’ a.k.a. Siddhartha Ghosh is a multilingual Indian independent artist, producer, architect and painter whose music is inspired by existential realities. He has released his latest track “Kaahe Sataye” featuring Piyush Ghadse.

Talking about the song he says, “The main theme of this track revolves around the idea of separation. The protagonist recites this with the pain of her lover leaving while she catches glimpses of her spending moments with her partner in her mind. The vocals have been sung by the featuring artist Piyush Ghadse”.
The song is a fusion in many ways. The production has a heavy electronic texture on it which is complemented by the Hindustani classical vocals and the signature flute melody. The synths and other supporting arps add an ethereal texture to the track which forms the entire ambience where the background vocals and adlibs act as fillers within the main vocal track
Siddhartha is a Bachelors in Music having done Visharad from Bhatkhande Sangeet Parishad, Lucknow and also Bachelors in Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. He completed his education in audio engineering and music production from Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts and Communications under the guidance of mentors from the Indian fusion band “Advaita”.
Talking about his work he says, “I have been working with music production professionally for the past four years and I’m keen on genres like neo soul, lo-fi, ambient downtempo, chillstep, electro-classical, soft rock, and ambient acoustic. I am also a part of ‘The Sacred Geometry’ which is an electronic duo mainly into IDM, Future house, Melodic house, Folktronica, Melodic Techno etc. and have been featured in the Electronic in India playlist by Spotify. We recently got nominated for IFP season XII awards for 50 hours music making challenge in the Electronic category whose jury included OAFF, Raja Kumari, Rajan Batra, Shalmali Kholgade, Sneha Khanwalkar”.
Piyush Ghadse is an actor, singer-songwriter who has been working in the industry for quite some time. He has worked in popular web series like Ratri ke Yatri, Never give up, Ready to Mingle, etc. He is also the Winner of the show Antakshari League 2020 on DD Kisan.
