Held at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025, the concert marked Ozzy Osbourne’s final live performance and the original Black Sabbath lineup’s first reunion in more than 20 years. The legendary frontman reunited with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the occasion. Ozzy passed away aged 76, just 17 days after the landmark show.
The concert film will feature highlights from the three-and-a-half-hour event, alongside behind-the-scenes footage and special tributes from artists including Dolly Parton, AC/DC and Ricky Gervais. Fans can also revisit Jack Black’s performance of ‘Mr. Crowley’ and Fred Durst’s rendition of ‘Changes’. Additionally, the release includes the ‘Sounds Of Birmingham’ documentary, offering a deeper look at the city’s musical legacy and the significance of the farewell celebration. The digital soundtrack will feature nine performances, including ‘Crazy Train’, ‘Paranoid’, ‘War Pigs’ and ‘Iron Man’.
An expanded ‘Back To The Beginning’ Deluxe Box Set is also scheduled for April 23, 2027. The collection will include three Blu-rays, two CDs, three vinyl records, a 72-page hardback book, an Ozzy Osbourne pendant necklace and exclusive memorabilia. A bonus Blu-ray will feature all 35 Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath songs and guest covers performed at the concert.
