Mumbai, 28th October 2026: Diljit Dosanjh is ready to bring the Aura India Tour home. The Punjabi superstar opens the India leg of his Aura World Tour at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium this Thursday, 30th October, after a week that saw a date change, a police permission scare and plenty of confusion among fans. If you are heading to the show, or still hoping to get in, here is everything you need to know.
Is the Diljit Dosanjh Delhi concert still happening?
Yes. Delhi Police had temporarily withheld permission for the concert, citing “specific threat related inputs” and security commitments during the festive season. After organizers submitted a detailed safety, crowd-management and traffic plan, permission was granted. BookMyShow, which is organizing the show, said the permission had been “temporarily withheld, not cancelled” and confirmed the concert will go ahead as scheduled on 30th October.

Buy only from the official listing. During Diljit’s last India tour in 2024, tickets sold out within minutes and resellers were asking for several times the original price. Fans should avoid tickets offered on social media or WhatsApp, as these are a common route for fake-ticket scams.
How to reach JLN Stadium
The easiest way to get there is by Delhi Metro. The JLN Stadium metro station on the Violet Line is right next to the venue. With a stadium-sized crowd expected on a weekday evening, roads around the stadium and Lodhi Road are likely to be busy, so leave early and keep an eye out for any traffic advisory from Delhi Traffic Police on the day.
What songs could Diljit perform?
The Aura tour is built around his 15th studio album, Aura, a ten-track record led by the single “Kufar” featuring Manushi Chhillar. Fans can expect songs from the new album alongside the hits that made his last tour a phenomenon.
