Hindh’s ‘Desh Mere Naam Mein’ is a dedication to our country – India

Mumbai, 5^th March 2023: International Hip Hop artist Hindh recently released his track ‘Desh Mere Naam Mein’ on the 24^th of February 2023. The song is a dedication to our country India and is his release post the success of his previous tracks such as ‘Taare’ and ‘Amar’.

Speaking about the track Hindh says “Desh Mere Naam Me is a track about representing my country which I have been named after (Hindh is another name for Hindustan or India). It is filled with references to Indian culture, movies, artists, places and many more and also talks about my goals of representing my country worldwide. In a way, it is an anthem for all Indian artists who are trying to pave a new path for their music. The beat uses a sample from a classic Bollywood song which further enhances the Indian flavour in the song.”

Hindh is an upcoming British Indian artist, born and brought up in London. His aim is to popularise Hindi rap and the Desi Hip Hop scene in the UK, after being inspired by the Hip Hop scene in India and Pakistan. He has built a very raw and unique sound, inspired by desi artists such as DIVINE, Seedhe Maut and Young Stunners. His album is one of the first Hindi rap albums to come out of the UK, which is just the start of a revolutionary journey. Hindh has since been featured as BBC Introducing Artist of The Week on the BBC Asian Network show which further highlights his bright potential.
