Yash Raj Films Launches Raah Records To Discover India’s Next Independent Music Superstars

Mumbai, 4^th August 2026: After shaping some of Indian cinema’s most iconic soundtracks for over five decades, Yash Raj Films (YRF) is taking a bold leap into the country’s thriving independent music landscape with the launch of Raah Records. More than just a record label, Raah Records has been envisioned as a long-term creative incubator dedicated to discovering, developing and nurturing India’s next generation of original artists. Marking its debut with singer-songwriter Aman’s first single, ‘Jaadugari’, releasing on August 5, the new venture signals YRF’s ambitious expansion beyond film music into building sustainable careers for independent musicians.

Unlike conventional music labels focused solely on releases, Raah Records has been designed around artist development, offering emerging musicians the time, mentorship and creative freedom needed to evolve. Spearheaded by Nakul Sharma, Senior General Manager – Music Management at Yash Raj Films, the label will work closely with artists across songwriting, music production, creative direction, audience development and strategic partnerships. Through its unique incubator model, Raah Records has already spent the past year collaborating behind the scenes with Aman, helping refine his artistic identity before introducing him to audiences with Jaadugari, the first chapter in what promises to be a long-term musical journey.
