With ‘HAL JORDAN’, Yungsta manifests imagination into reality

Mumbai, 20th November 2025: Yungsta has recently released HAL JORDAN, a track that marks the beginning of a new artistic arc for the rapper. Yash Chandra, aka Yungsta, has built his name on unfiltered lyricism, precise delivery, and an uncanny ability to transmit emotion with the same intensity he feels it.

A product of the Insignia community on Orkut, the breeding ground of early 2010s Desi Hip-Hop, Yungsta stands among the few artists carrying forward the grit, hunger, and lyrical purity of that era. What sets him apart is his uncompromising spirit: the ability to treat life’s unpredictability as a teacher and evolve with every shift.

With HAL JORDAN, Yungsta steps into a fresh sonic universe. The track carries the spontaneity of a freestyle while being a calculated experiment in texture and tone. Built with producers Nikhil–Swapnil, the song merges instinct-driven production with Yungsta’s lyrical edge, creating a sound that is urgent, cohesive, and unapologetically forward-looking.

Inspired by Hal Jordan, the real identity of DC’s Green Lantern, the track marks the first time Yungsta consciously channels his lifelong love for comics and pop culture. Jordan’s power, the ability to manifest imagination into reality through sheer will, becomes the metaphor for where Yungsta stands today.

The release comes with a suite of visuals, artwork, and a music video, all reinforcing the comic-book ethos and world-building at the centre of this new phase.
