Tarra takes you on the ultimate feel-good weekend beach trip with“Time Of Our Lives”

The “weekend getaway” single was simultaneously produced in Mumbai, India and Nashville, USA, truly harnessing the power of remote music making

Mumbai, 14^th January 2023: Freshly back home from her first semester at Berklee College of Music, 19 year old musician Tarra is thrilled to announce the release of her latest single, “Time of Our Lives”. Just like the theme of the song, travel and adventure, the song has traveled all over the world. Tarra wrote and recorded the track in her hometown, Mumbai, produced it remotely with Nashville based billboard-charting producer Taylor Franklyn on zoom, and finally finished it up with the help of Miami engineer Austin Leeds. The music video was filmed in Dubai. “Time Of Our Lives” is a song that’s accidentally born from the very thing that it’s about – adventure.

Refreshing, feel good and breezy, Time Of Our Lives is a mood-booster anthem that encourages you to leave the city (and all your responsibilities) behind, throw caution to the wind, and of course- have the time of your life. The single is defined by its catchy guitar hook, which happens to be the first thing Tarra ever thought of in the making of the track. With this upcoming release, Tarra wants the song to be the ultimate soundtrack to listeners’ weekend getaways and Friday night road trips.

Dubbed by her engaged listeners as Mumbai’s homegrown, indie Taylor Swift, Tarra defines her genre as “Profound, feel-good lyrical pop”. She writes thoughtful and (sometimes a little too) relatable lyrics over catchy, classic, pure pop melodies. After having been featured on several national Indian radio stations, VH1, and music publications, Tarra took a short break from releasing music to start at Berklee College of Music (where she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Music Industry Leadership and Innovation). Now, she is back stronger than ever with the new release, and a much-awaited debut album in the pipeline.
