Tanisha Sharma Releases Debut Album ‘Bitter Treat’, An Eight-Track Journey Through Love, Loss & Hope

Mumbai, 3rd September 2026: Tanisha Sharma is set to enter a new phase of her musical journey with “Bitter Treat,” her debut full-length album arriving on September 3, 2026. Following a growing catalogue of nine original singles and a three-track EP, the eight-song record brings together years of songwriting, experimentation and personal storytelling. The album promises an intimate look at the emotions and experiences that have shaped Tanisha as an artist, turning her independent journey into her most ambitious musical project yet.

Built around contemporary pop, “Bitter Treat” refuses to stay within a single genre. Tanisha explores pop rock, dream pop, reggae pop, disco pop, Latin pop, techno and electronic music across the album, while drawing inspiration from both early-2000s pop and contemporary electronic production. The result is a record shaped by musical curiosity as much as emotional honesty, with each track capturing a different mood, from heartbreak and longing to ambition, resilience, hope and self-discovery.

What makes “Bitter Treat” particularly personal is that many of its songs were written and composed during Tanisha’s school and college years, gradually evolving alongside her songwriting and production skills. “Every song on this album comes from a real emotion or experience,” says Tanisha. “Some are about heartbreak, some are about chasing dreams, while others celebrate hope and moving forward. Together, they represent different chapters of life, and I hope listeners find their own stories within them.”

With support from close collaborators, including her music production mentor, vocal coach, recording engineer and friends involved in mixing and mastering, Tanisha has built “Bitter Treat” around songwriting that remains at the centre of every track. Each of the eight songs will also receive its own lyric video, extending the album’s storytelling into the visual space. Following her nine singles and debut EP, the album represents a significant step forward for the independent artist, showcasing her evolving sound and commitment to emotionally driven music. “Bitter Treat” will be available on all major streaming platforms from September 3, 2026.
