Talwiinder Begins His ‘Paiinted Feeliings’ Journey With ‘Assay Passay’

Mumbai, 22^nd September 2026: Talwiinder has officially unveiled ‘Assay Passay,’ the first song from his much-anticipated EP ‘Paiinted Feeliings,’ opening a new chapter in his immersive musical world. Following days of cryptic hints, clues and decoding by his community, the artist has finally revealed the first glimpse of the upcoming project. The Punjabi phrase ‘Assay Passay’ refers to one’s surroundings, but Talwiinder takes the idea deeper, exploring how the people and spaces around us can quietly shape who we become. The song examines how relationships and environments can influence the way we speak, behave, think and even perceive ourselves, often without us realising the transformation taking place.

For Talwiinder, ‘Assay Passay’ began organically during an unplanned freestyle session, eventually developing into a reflection on identity and influence. Speaking about Assay Passay and Paiinted Feeliings, Talwiinder says, “We made ‘Assay Passay’ during a freestyle session at a friend’s house on a rainy day. It wasn’t planned at all. As we kept working on it, this thought about how much the people around us can change us just stayed with me. Sometimes you don’t even notice that you’re becoming a different version of yourself. I think we all experience emotions that are difficult to explain or put into words, and Paiinted Feeliings came from that space for me, with each song capturing a different feeling, memory or moment.”
