Mumbai, 20^th December 2025: Sunburn Festival 2025 kicked off its much-anticipated Mumbai edition at Infinity Bay, Sewri, with Day 1 unfolding as a powerful opening chapter to the three-day celebration. Fans streamed into the venue beaming with excitement, friends arriving together, seasoned Sunburn Festival loyalists and first-time festival-goers, all feeding into an atmosphere buzzing with anticipation.

The day built steadily across the venue, with performances from standout artists like Nirvaan, Ana Lilia, Mathame, Richie Hawtin and Houdini, among other artists, each contributing their signature sounds and setting the mood for the night. Between sets, festival-goers explored the  immersive arcade zone, sampled flavours from the curated food district, elevated their festival look at the flea market and soaked in the scale of Sunburn Festival’s Mumbai debut.

Sunburn Festival 2025 took a bold step forward with Beyond Infinity, a stage concept that felt as much cultural as it was creative. Anchored by nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of LED, the towering monolith became a dynamic canvas that evolved with every beat and drop redefining the scale and emotional impact of what an electronic music festival can look and feel like in India.The standout moment of the day arrived with the headline set by Sara Landry, marking her first-ever performance in India, as she transformed the ‘Beyond Infinity’ mainstage into a pulsating monument of sound. Bringing a darker, harder and unapologetically uncompromising edge to the night, Landry’s commanding presence and relentless energy set the tone for one of the festival’s most defining moments. From the instant she stepped behind the decks, the crowd was pulled into a deep, hypnotic techno journey – one driven by thunderous basslines, razor-sharp percussion and an intensity that never loosened its grip.

Tracks like ‘Girlboss’, ‘Pressure’, ‘Play With Me’,’ Heaven’, and ‘Legacy’ rolled out with crushing force, woven together through exclusive edits and high-impact, precision-engineered transitions that elevated every phase of the set. Each drop landed with palpable impact, sparking waves of movement and eruptions of cheers as the audience surrendered completely to the rhythm. With immersive and illuminating visuals, lighting and sound design locked tightly to her tempo, the mainstage evolved into a fully enveloping arena where time blurred and the energy peaked. Sara Landry’s India debut became a landmark moment for Sunburn Festival 2025, setting a powerful benchmark for the nights that followed.

Adding to the experience, this year, Sunburn Festival introduced an upgraded F&B lineup including curated menus, gourmet pop-ups, artisanal food brands and signature cocktail bars crafted especially for the festival – a culinary experience designed to match the scale of the music.
