Shruti Haasan Drops a Soulful English Track, It’s a Total Vibe
She wrote it at 20, never recorded it officially, and now it’s got fans in their feels
Mumbai, 8th May 2025: Shruti Haasan just gave her followers a gem—a raw, heartfelt English track she wrote when she was just 20. Posted on Instagram with her jamming on the piano, the song wasn’t meant for the world at first, but Shruti felt it was time to bring it back.
“Someone asked me recently ‘what would you say to your young self’ and I said that she got it right. Wrote this when I was 20 and needed to revisit it again. I always do from time to time, I barely ever perform this song live, haven’t even bothered to record it again. Because I guess it was just for me—to remind myself through the years that—your mind is the love of your life. Also missed my piano so much,” she shared in her caption.
While fans are still swooning over the track, Shruti’s also got big-screen moments lined up. She’s all set to appear in Coolie alongside superstar Rajinikanth, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and her international debut film The Eye is also dropping later this year.
