Pop singer Imcha Imchen collaborates with the talented producer MRIK to releases his latest track “We Tried” on Springboard Records

Pop singer/songwriter Imcha Imchen collaborates for the first time with young, talented composer MRIK (Mriganka Bhattacharya) to create a lyrical melody which embodies the spirit of love; broken up but with the best wishes at heart. The new record is available through his parent label, Springboard Records.
Imcha Imchen is a multilingual singer songwriter and music producer from Nagaland. He explored and developed his passion for music from a very young age, experimenting with covers and originals till he released his debut music video “Moving On” at the tender age of 18. After the success of his first few singles (Spare my Heart as No. 16 in Apple’s Top 200 songs for 2020), he took on an unprecedented journey with Walking Temptation Remix version (in collaboration with US based Hip Hop rapper, Theolodge) being No. 29 on I-Tunes.
We Tried is MRIK’s debut composition and his collaboration with the super successful Imcha Imchen speaks volumes of his talent. The song is an ode to love where the lovers try everything to make it work but it dosent and they part ways with the singer wishing his lover the very best in life; happiness always ! Acceptance that they would not come together again breaks the heart more yet as the singer moves on, he does not draw himself away from wishing happiness to his lover. Speaking on his debut release, MRIK commented, “I felt magic come alive in the moments Imcha and I worked on the song and I can’t wait for the audiences to hear it. It has been super fun through and through and I hope my listeners enjoy it as much as we did making it!”
Imcha has turned his passion for music into a path which is already taking him places. His major influences are Bruno Mars, Bazzi, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinantra as they compose and write beautiful lyrics with catchy melodies. His emotive vocals add to the pictorial experience that strike the listener as a beautiful amalgamation.
MRIK, a singer-songwriter & a music producer, born and raised in Guwahati, Assam was always interested in music since his childhood days. After his engineering studies, he went to Mumbai & enrolled at the award winning institute for Sound Engineering and Music Production – The Media Tribe. Since then he has never looked back and has been making lots of music.
