Kunwarr Returns With High-Energy Punjabi Pop Track ‘Hold Up’

Speaking about the song, Kunwarr says, “I’m not trying to create just music, I’m creating an experience that gets delivered from an artist to a listener. I need the listener to feel the same way I did while making and playing it, just straight good vibes.”

Reflecting on the creative process, Kunwarr reveals that Hold Up was made in 2025 after returning from Los Angeles and spending time listening to old-school hip-hop. He says the music naturally influenced the bounce of the track, which became an opportunity to create something different from his usual emotional material. “I usually focus on emotion-driven music, but this was more about me just having a good time, and I hope that comes through to the listener,” he adds.
