Amaal Mallik Treats Fans on his Birthday to a New Love Song “Mohabbat” produced by T-Series!

Mumbai, 17^th June 2023: Celebrated singer and composer Amaal Mallik collaborates with T-Series to bring fans an audio-visual delight with “Mohabbat,” an enchanting love song produced by Bhushan Kumar, featuring Amaal and his long-time friend, actress Aamna Sharif, who are coming together on screen for the very first time. With Amaal’s beautiful composition blended with his vocals and Vayu’s lyrics, the song is definitely a feast to the ears. To complement the captivating melody, the music video was filmed against the breath-taking landscapes of Ladakh, through the expert eye of director Krish Trivedi. Amaal, a self-proclaimed fan of the legendary Shah Rukh Khan, has incorporated elements in the visuals that pay homage to the grandeur and charm of some iconic scenes.

Says Amaal Mallik, “I sang an unplugged version of this track a while ago and the reception from fans was such that I decided to work on a full-fledged track. Collaborating with Aamna Sharif for the first time has been an incredible experience, and I hope that the audience appreciates the chemistry we bring to the music video.”

Aamna Sharif who has played the female lead in the song shares her experience and says, “Amaal and I have been friends for over 12 years and we finally got the opportunity to work together with this music video. Mohabbat showcases Amaal’s versatility as an artist and I’m sure audiences will love it.”

Vayu has penned the lyrics of the song. When asked to comment on the song making process he says, “It was a challenge to write as beautifully as the melody composed by Amaal Mallik was. I have tried to weave the emotions of first love through my words. Hope it resonates with everybody.”

The song has been beautifully shot by Krish Trivedi, he further adds by saying, “A title like Mohabbat instantly takes your mind to SRK and that beautiful era of music and romantic movies. I knew that Mohabbat had to be treated like a no nonsense Bollywood Romantic film song. It was an enriching experience preparing for this song and I’m especially thrilled to present Amaal in a new avatar for his Amaalians.”
