Speaking about the release, Khanwalkar says, “‘Puranpoli’ has a very playful and infectious energy to it, and I love how the song brings together different musical influences with a sense of fun. With Diwali around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to take it beyond the film and bring it to audiences as a standalone music video. The idea is to get people to let go, enjoy themselves and simply dance. Having Vijay, Vikramaditya, Kratex and Ganesh Chandanshive come together for the video makes the experience even more special. I hope it becomes a part of everyone’s festive celebrations”.
With its vibrant musical identity and an ensemble spanning cinema and music, ‘Puranpoli’ aims to bring a fresh beat to Diwali celebrations. The standalone video invites audiences to turn up the volume and embrace the festive mood when it arrives on October 28. As the song moves from the screen into a wider musical space, Khanwalkar’s latest release is ready to give the season a playful, dance-friendly soundtrack.
