Mumbai, 26th October 2026: Jay-Z closed his ‘Jay-Z 30’ concert series in spectacular fashion, welcoming West Coast hip-hop legends Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Too $hort during the second night of his Los Angeles shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on October 24. Celebrating 30 years since his landmark debut album Reasonable Doubt, the rapper delivered a career-spanning performance that brought together generations of hip-hop history. The finale capped a series of anniversary shows revisiting the catalogue that established Jay-Z as one of rap’s most influential artists.
Too $hort joined Jay-Z early in the show for “Blow the Whistle”, bringing a Bay Area classic into the set. Later, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre made a surprise appearance, performing a medley of iconic tracks including “The Next Episode”, “California Love”, “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” Snoop also joined Jay-Z for “Murder Was the Case”, creating one of the night’s standout moments and celebrating the enduring influence of West Coast rap.
Beyond the guest appearances, Jay-Z revisited hits spanning his career, including “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”, “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, “Empire State of Mind” and “Public Service Announcement”. He also paid tribute to the late Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, incorporating “Hussle & Motivate” and “Last Time That I Checc’d” into his performance. Addressing online claims about attendance and ticket giveaways, Jay-Z urged the audience to trust what they could see and hear, reflecting on the need to question information circulating in the age of artificial intelligence.

The Los Angeles finale brought the yearlong ‘Jay-Z 30’ celebration to a close, following earlier performances in Philadelphia, New York, London and Paris. The series honoured the legacy of Reasonable Doubt, released in 1996, while highlighting Jay-Z’s continued impact on hip-hop culture. With surprise collaborations, a deep catalogue of classics and tributes to influential artists, the final night reinforced the lasting connections between rap’s East and West Coast legacies.
