Speaking about the release, Yung Raja says, “Forever is a record that’s close to my heart. One of the first songs I ever worked on in Mumbai with Mali and 2AM from Sweden. A personal favourite of mine I haven’t stopped listening to since we made it and I’m so excited to finally share this with you. A (tanglish) love letter dedicated to all our forevers”. Mali echoed the sentiment, saying, “It’s not always that you get to collaborate with someone you’re genuinely a fan of. And when it does happen it’s really something. Yung and I got along from the start and that same camaraderie followed us into the studio when we first wrote Forever with William and Petter (2AM) It all came together so naturally and quickly! I can’t wait for the world to hear this one and for Raja and i to do this all over again soon”.
Recognised for the fusion of English and Tamil rap, Yung Raja continues expanding his international footprint through collaborations with artists like Jay Park, Yellow Claw and SVDP. With forever, he takes another confident step towards redefining modern Asian music by pairing authentic storytelling with global production. Accompanied by an official music video, the release further establishes Yung Raja and Mali as artists unafraid to blur geographical and musical boundaries while delivering a song that resonates with listeners across generations.
