Universal Music India’s Domestic Hits Set to Spin on Vinyl with Blisstainment

Mumbai, 8^th July 2025: Universal Music India – part of Universal Music Group and one of India’s leading music-led entertainment labels, has announced a strategic licensing agreement with Blisstainment, a brand owned by Basking Shark Private Limited, a leading player in the physical music distribution space.

Under the agreement, Blisstainment will be the official licensor and distributor of vinyl records from Universal Music India’s rich domestic repertoire. This will make some of the most iconic Hindi film soundtracks and I-pop albums remastered for Vinyl, available to music connoisseurs across the country on high-quality 180g 12-inch records.
