Sharing his thoughts on the release, Turaab says, “I’m extremely grateful to receive a platform like this to showcase my talent to the world. Not many people get this opportunity, so I’ll continue to give it my best. It’s amazing to see how something made in a small room can resonate to people around the world. This song has been in the works for almost 3 years now, with numerous iterations made. It was actually an English song before Rish and I came up with the idea of adding Hindi to it to connect more with the people here in India. More than the lyrics though, the melody has gotten stuck in the heads of people I have played the song to once. The other day my cook, I call him Firoz bhai, was humming the song, so that’s when I knew we did it right.“
