This year’s roundtable unites artists and industry voices for a reflective conversation on the changes shaping Indian independent music.
Mumbai, 15th December 2025: TuneCore, one of the leading development partners for self-releasing artists—owned by Paris-based Believe, one of the world’s leading music companies—has unveiled the second edition of its annual Indian Indie Round Table, a conversation exploring the creative shifts, challenges, and breakthroughs that shaped India’s independent music scene throughout 2025.
Hosted by music journalist Amit Gurbaxani, this year’s panel includes singer-songwriter Nischay Parekh (TV Dinner), Dhaval Khotari (Founder of music marketing agency, All By Play), and Sherish Sheikh (Founder of Odd House Management, representing rising indie artist Mansa Jimmy)—a group that collectively represents the perspectives of artists, managers, marketeers and ecosystem builders working closely with TuneCore.

Speaking on the return of the roundtable for its second year, Akhila Shankar, Head of TuneCore South Asia said, “We first developed the Indian Indie Round Table because we believe conversations like these play a tangible role in strengthening the independent ecosystem. Our artists and partners are helping develop the way that indie music grows in India, and by sharing their journeys here, they help the wider community learn and evolve alongside them. As TuneCore continues to champion independent artists, creating spaces like this where members of our industry can share their knowledge is central to how we help shape the future of independent music in India.”
