Sunidhi Chauhan’s ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ Completes The Musical Journey Of Drishyam The Conclusion

Mumbai, 1st October 2026: As Drishyam The Conclusion prepares for its theatrical release on October 2, the film’s complete soundtrack is now out, bringing together distinct musical worlds from Ravi Basrur, Rochak Kohli and KARMA. The album moves through the many shades of Vijay Salgaonkar’s story, from revenge and danger to family, hope and mounting pressure. Its final addition, ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, revisits the events of Drishyam and Drishyam 2, setting the emotional stage for the franchise’s final chapter.

The new track looks back at the fear, choices, consequences and sacrifices that have shaped the Salgaonkar family’s journey. Sunidhi’s powerful vocals give the song the scale required to revisit years of storytelling, while the soundtrack’s earlier releases have explored different sides of Vijay’s world. Ravi Basrur’s ‘Vingansa’, sung by Siddharth Basrur, brings danger and revenge to the forefront, while Rochak Kohli’s ‘Muskura Do’, sung by Lucky Ali, turns towards family and warmth. KARMA’s ‘Game Over’ adds a darker rap energy, reflecting the pressure surrounding Vijay.

Speaking about the album, Ajay Devgn said, “The music of Drishyam has always been a character in itself. It brings out the emotions and connects audiences more deeply with the story.” Director Abhishek Pathak added that the album was designed to reflect the film’s changing emotions rather than make every song sound alike. For Sunidhi Chauhan, ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ was about carrying the memories of Vijay and his family through the voice, while composer Ravi Basrur described the track as bringing their entire journey together through music.

Sunidhi Chauhan shares, “‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ was special because the song carries so much of the story with it. You are not singing about just one moment; you are looking back at everything Vijay and his family have gone through. While recording it, I wanted the voice to feel like it was taking you through those memories rather than simply singing a song. There is a lot of drama in the story, but there is also a very strong emotional core, and I tried to hold on to that while singing it.”

With ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’, the Drishyam The Conclusion soundtrack now comes together as a musical journey through Vijay Salgaonkar’s world, taking listeners from danger and revenge to family, hope and one final reckoning. The complete album is available now on all streaming platforms via Sony Music India, while the Abhishek Pathak-directed film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and others.
