Mumbai, 27th March 2026: Indian-born, Singapore/UK-based singer-songwriter Druv Kent has released his powerful new single “Beyond It All (Sayi)” today, marking a defining moment in his artistic journey. Known for seamlessly blending folk, pop, and rock influences with Sufi-infused Hindi textures, Kent’s latest offering is a deeply immersive fusion of Eastern and Western musical sensibilities.
With atmospheric production, contemplative lyricism, and a stirring vocal performance, “Beyond It All (Sayi)” explores themes of loss, resilience, and the enduring light that exists beyond absence. The track moves fluidly between a hopeful, searching Western melodic structure and the soothing, chant-like refrains of an ancient Punjabi folk composition, reimagined and rewritten by Kent’s mother, Bina Shrikent. The composition builds in emotional intensity with each repetition, ultimately circling back to its spiritual core.

Produced by Kent alongside UK-based collaborator Calum MacColl, known for his work with Ronan Keating, the song was recorded across the UK and Singapore. It features layered vocal contributions from a diverse group of Indian artists including Siddhant Bhatia, Jagdish Jaipuri, Shivangani Yeashu Maharaj, and Saubhagya Prasad, adding depth and richness to its expansive sonic landscape.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the track, Kent shares, “In dark times you wake up and while things look the same, everything feels different… writing this song helped lift me by reminding me, even this shall pass.” The song becomes not just a musical piece, but a personal catharsis, an honest expression of navigating grief and finding hope.
