Mumbai, 6th October 2026: Shakira is extending her Madrid residency once again, adding a final show on October 12, 2026, following overwhelming demand for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The newly announced date will take place on Spain’s Hispanic Day, one day after the previously scheduled October 11 performance, bringing the Colombian superstar’s Madrid run to 13 shows. The residency originally began on September 18 and has continued to draw major audiences to the specially created Estadio Shakira in Madrid’s Villaverde district.
The additional concert is being billed as a major farewell night, with Shakira set to celebrate the conclusion of her Madrid residency alongside friends and special guests. While the guest lineup for the October 12 show has not yet been announced, the residency has already featured major musical moments, including appearances by Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini and Dua Lipa. Shakira’s October 3 performance with Dua Lipa, which included an acoustic rendition of “Antología,” became another standout moment from the Madrid run.
The Madrid residency has been built as more than a conventional concert series, with the Estadio Shakira and surrounding Macondo Park creating an immersive entertainment experience. Inspired by Gabriel García Márquez’s fictional town of Macondo, the site combines music with cultural experiences, including art, literature, food, fashion and other activities connected to Latin culture. The specially developed venue has a capacity of around 50,000 people, turning Shakira’s Madrid residency into a large-scale cultural destination as well as a live music event.
Tickets for the newly added October 12 performance will go on general sale on October 7, with an earlier presale available to Santander Music customers on October 6. The final Madrid date gives Shakira one more opportunity to close the European chapter of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in front of Spanish audiences. After expanding repeatedly in response to demand, the residency now arrives at its definitive finale, with one final night still to come.
