Mumbai, 8th January 2026: YouTuber-turned-artist Sejal Kumar released her latest single ‘Sukoon’ on January 4th – a deeply personal track that captures the essence of love, companionship, and shared dreams. A pioneer in India’s creator industry with over a decade of storytelling across content, fashion, and music, Sejal continues to evolve as an artist rooted in emotional authenticity.
Set to her wedding film, Sukoon becomes the soundtrack to Sejal’s most personal chapter, unfolding through real, intimate moments from the day the song holds such meaning for her. The video opens with a candid snippet of the couple speaking about each other and moves through heartfelt, lived-in moments from their wedding celebrations. It feels less like a traditional music video and more like being welcomed into a family moment, warm, emotional, and full of love.

Written earlier this year in Cannes during the Film Festival, the song was shaped by a defining emotional moment. As Sejal walked the red carpet, Bharat had travelled all the way to be there for her- an act of quiet support that became the heart of Sukoon. The song reflects Sejal’s realisation that even the biggest dreams only matter when shared with loved ones, and that success feels complete only when the right people are by your side.
“This song came from a moment of deep clarity,” shares Sejal. “Being at Cannes, chasing such a big dream, I realised that none of it would matter without the people who make the journey worthwhile. Sukoon is about that feeling- about love that grounds you.”

Produced by Vinod Arora, a longtime collaborator across Sejal’s performances and projects, Sukoon was uniquely crafted across continents, with Vinod sending the production from Delhi while Sejal wrote the song from France, a process that mirrors its theme of connection beyond distance. The song was mixed and mastered by Protyay Chakraborty, giving it a polished yet intimate sonic finish.
Over the years, Sejal has built a community of over 2.5 million through her work across content, fashion, music, and her short film series #MinDrama. With Sukoon, Sejal not only shares a piece of her personal love story but also marks the beginning of her new music era for 2026, rooted in emotional depth and artistic growth.
