Ronn Drops ‘BADI EGA D***ARU’: Telugu Swagger Collides with UK Rap!

Mumbai, 20th December 2025: Ronn continues to redraw the global map of Indian hip-hop with his latest release, ‘BADI EGA D*ARU’ (clean/radio title: BADI EGA DOBBARU), a confident, UK-influenced Telugu rap track that speaks directly to the noise, opinions, and unsolicited commentary surrounding his viral rise.

Ronn has steadily been carving out a sound that feels both rooted and borderless. BADI EGA D**ARU* leans into that identity with ease; a chilled, conversational track that blends the restraint and swagger of modern UK rap with unmistakable Telugu cultural expression. At its core, the song is about clarity and self-belief: everything else is just background sound.

Sonically, the track draws inspiration from artists like Central Cee and Kidwild, embracing melodic minimalism and an effortless, talk-rap delivery. Production comes from lucwhatscooking, a London-based producer whose credits include Kidwild, ryutherunner, antslive, and m1llionz, anchoring the song firmly within the UK’s new-wave hip-hop soundscape. Engineering is handled by Jeevanah, known for his work with Indian producer Karan Kanchan and artists such as Tesher and Jonita Gandhi, further bridging contemporary UK rap sonics with Indian hip-hop’s evolving identity.

The release follows an instinctive, sharply timed rollout. A raw Instagram reel showing Ronn casually performing the track while getting ready in his room quickly crossed 65,000+ views and nearly 4,500 shares. Recognising the momentum, he moved fast, finalising the master, shooting the music video the very next day, and pushing the track into distribution. It’s a release strategy that mirrors the song’s energy: unfiltered, responsive, and natively digital.

Speaking on his mission, Ronn says, “Telugu Rap isn’t mainstream yet and imagine cussing in Telugu, people aren’t ready for it. My sole aim is to take Telugu rap global and wanna do it in the most authentic way to spread the movement. The Telugus need to know they’re represented all the way overseas and Telugu can be a really cool language. I’m on my way to create a new genre Telugu Trap and will not stop until I see that when I’m pitching on Spotify’s editorial pitch haha”.

‘BADI EGA D*ARU’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
