Mumbai, 1st August 2025: “GORI,” the latest release from Ravator, Aditya Rikhari, and Gajendra Verma, is a tender yet powerful exploration of love, longing, and emotional vulnerability. Written and composed by the trio, the track blends poetic lyricism with a textured indie-pop soundscape—offering listeners a track that’s both intimate and universally resonant.
A song about deep longing and the magic of love, GORI captures the inner dialogue of someone lost in thoughts of their beloved, unable to escape their pull. The lyrics express sleepless nights, wandering thoughts, and the desire to hold on to a love that feels too precious to lose. The hook playfully questions whether love should be hidden from the world or embraced fearlessly.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ravator said, “GORI is a track that came from a deeply personal space. It’s about those moments where love feels overwhelming—so intense that you want to keep it close, like a secret. Creating this with Aditya and Gajendra felt natural; we all brought different emotions into it and that made the process very real.”
Aditya Rikhari, known for his unique voice and emotionally resonant songwriting, added, “The beauty of GORI lies in its simplicity. It’s about a feeling we’ve all lived at some point—love that consumes and confuses you. When we began writing, it felt more like storytelling than composing. It’s one of those tracks that stays with you long after it ends.”
Gajendra Verma, co-composed and lent his voice to the track, shared, “Singing GORI with Aditya was effortless. We were both feeling the same emotion while recording. There’s something raw and real about the song. Ravator kept the music simple so the feeling could breathe. It’s not trying to be loud; it’s just trying to be true. I think that’s what will connect with people, it feels like a memory you’ve lived.
Rooted in today’s cultural codes, GORI celebrates the modern Indian music listener’s growing love for authentic, homegrown storytelling. With its heartfelt lyrics and soul-stirring composition, the track adds yet another memorable addition to the indie-pop space. This song is part of a collaborative initiative between Universal Music Group for Brands and Hyundai Spotlight Season 3 to spotlight original Indian music and creative voices.
