Radhika Das unveils first single ‘Sita Rama Jaya’ from his upcoming EP

Mumbai, 5th February 2026: Radhika Das, a well-known bhakti artist, bringing the essence of ancient mantra to modern hearts, has released a fresh single titled Sita Rama Jaya from his upcoming EP. The song is a mix of traditional lyrical practice and contemporary production. Released under Mantra Roots, it is a soulful mantra chant of divinity, Sita and Rama, that brings a sense of peace through eternal devotion.

Sita Rama Jaya is a chant that connects you with something immortal, creating a harmony between the mind and heart. It drifts from the conventional bhajan recordings by employing an addictive guitar riff and infectious groove in the production with captivating vocals. It captures the reflective spirit of the mantra. The song, produced by Seattle based, Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Ryan Hadlock, is lively, energising, and a reminder that devotion can be joyful, expressive, and full of life.

The messaging also expands to the cover art that pays homage to the Ram Setu, a pivotal moment in Ramayana, with the imagery evoking victory and light. It is symbolic of Radhika Das’ purpose to make music that acts as a bridge between ancient and modern and the individual and God.

Talking about his latest single, Radhika Das said, “Sita Rama Jaya is a chant of the divine names Sita and Rama, who epitomise divine love, compassion, harmony and loving devotion. With this song, I aimed to create a space where people hear sacred sounds and feel connected to something deeper. While doing so, I also wanted people to dance along to its electric rhythm.”

Radhika added, “My hope is that when people hear it, even if they’ve never heard a mantra or kirtan before, they just feel uplifted, a sense of joy and a little more open-hearted.”

The upcoming EP fits perfectly with the daily lives of modern listeners, as Radhika Das refined the traditional, longer kirtan formats without losing the heart of the practice. Its intention is to honour the regional depth of kirtan while designing it to be concise and intentional for listeners to carry those mantras throughout the day. The new single is a reflection of this intent. It is contemplative and rooted in tradition without being esoteric or shackled by the very tradition it is perpetuating. Sita Rama Jaya is now available on all major music streaming platforms, including YouTube.
