Midival Punditz’s ‘Love & Machines’ Reigns as a Sonic Journey of Tradition and Modernity 

Mumbai, 10th April 2026: The duo of Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj A.K.A The Midival Punditz, has released their highly anticipated album, “Love & Machines”, a bold and genre-defying musical odyssey that seamlessly weaves the soulful threads of Indian classical, folk and Sufi traditions with cutting-edge electronic sounds. 

This album reaffirms their status as one of the pioneers of Indian electronic music, pushing boundaries and redefining the soundscape of contemporary Indian music.

Inspired by the essence of love and positivity,  ‘Love & Machines’ explores the soul of Indian musical heritage and how it melts into the modern world. The album is an eclectic journey through styles ranging from Ghazal, Sufi, Folk, to Indian classical, all presented with the Midival Punditz’s signature electronic twist. Collaborating with renowned artists like Malini Awasthi, Papon, Shubha Mudgal, Shruti Pathak, Sukanya Chattopadhyay, Pt Ajay Prasanna, Vidhi Sharma, Shubhrat Sharma, and Vishal Vaid, the album celebrates linguistic diversity across Hindi, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Bengali, and Urdu. 

Expressing their excitement about the release, the duo shares, “We are very excited to finally share this album with the world. It’s a body of work made over the past few years while lots was going on in our personal lives, professional lives and all across the world. We tried to capture what we felt with honesty and hope it strikes a chord.” ‘Love & Machines’ is their first full-length project in the last 5 years, marking a significant return after a span of 5 years since their previous release.

To celebrate the launch of their new album, Midival Punditz will also embark on a multi-city tour across India, hitting ten major cities including NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. The tour promises an immersive experience with electrifying live performances, mesmerizing visuals, and collaborations that bring their innovative sound to life.
