Mumbai, 15th November 2025: Kanika Kapoor has officially received a Grammy nomination as part of the musical project Sounds of Kumbha, which has been shortlisted in the prestigious Best Global Music Album category at the 68th Grammy Awards.
The album, inspired by India’s iconic Maha Kumbh Mela, features Kanika Kapoor as the voice of the track, ‘Legend of Kumbha’. Produced by Siddhant Bhatia, Sounds of Kumbha brings together more than 50 Indian and international musicians, blending ancient mantras, traditional instrumentation, and modern sound design to capture the scale and divinity of the world’s largest spiritual congregation.
