JioSaavn announces the second edition of India Superhits Awards

Honouring and celebrating the most streamed songs and artists shaping India’s listening habits

Mumbai, 7th January 2026: JioSaavn, one of India’s leading audio platforms, announced the return of the India Superhits Awards, marking the second year of its flagship, data led music awards. The India Superhits Awards will celebrate music released and streamed between 1st January to 31st December 2025, with winners determined based on streaming performance and listener engagement during this period.

Unlike traditional awards driven by panels or nominations, the India Superhits Awards are built entirely on observed listening choices, offering an objective view into what India streamed. The data is tracked top performing tracks and artists across 10 languages – Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Marathi – reflecting the multilingual nature of India’s audio streaming patterns.

In an endeavour to foreground the full creative value chain, India Superhits Awards will recognise five core performance driven categories, capturing both consumption and creative impact across each of the 10 languages. The categories will be:

  • Most Streamed Song
  • Most Streamed Female Artist
  • Most Streamed Male Artist
  • Most Streamed Lyricist
  • Most Streamed Composer

Grounded in streaming data, the awards offer meaningful insights into audience behaviour, regional performance and sustained listening patterns. With its second edition, the India Superhits Awards 2026 will strengthen JioSaavn’s position not only as a music streaming platform but also a source of insight into how India listens – across languages, regions and listening habits.

The announcement of the winners of the India Superhits Awards 2026 will be shared in the coming weeks.
