‘Hyperspace’ is Peekay’s raw dive into the void and the light beyond

Mumbai, 27^th June 2025: “Hyperspace” is the first release from Peekay’s upcoming EP Cast in Chaos, and it marks a bold sonic shift for the band, diving headfirst into a heavier, darker, and more cinematic realm of modern metal, laced with Christian symbolism drawn from real-life experience.

Written by frontwoman Pranati Khanna and Jonathan Edward (who also produced and played guitars), the track captures the disorienting plunge into a mental black hole, where dissociation, confusion, and spiritual longing collide. At its core, “Hyperspace” delivers a message of clarity; that staying focused on The Light, and consciously removing temptation and distraction, is key to unlocking true love, lasting joy, and real success. Layering guttural screams with clean, haunting vocals, Peekay balances technical precision with raw emotion. “Hyperspace” is about the spaces in your mind you get lost in when reality feels too heavy, when time blurs, gravity collapses, and you’re just… floating, frantic, searching for a way out.
