Faheem Abdullah, Hyder Dar & Zia release soul-stirring ballad “Teri Yaad”

Mumbai, 10^th October 2025: Faheem Abdullah, in collaboration with Hyder Dar and Zia, releases his latest track, “Teri Yaad”, an evocative ballad that captures the ache of love, loss, and memory.

What makes “Teri Yaad” especially significant is its origin story. Penned during Faheem’s school days, this was the very first song he ever wrote, born out of the poems he had been crafting since childhood. Returning to this piece after years of artistic evolution, Faheem calls it a full-circle moment, revisiting the emotions of his early songwriting with the maturity and artistry he has cultivated over time.

Faheem Abdullah’s body of work includes fan-favourite tracks such as “Ishq” and “Sajde” from the acclaimed album Lost; Found, the devotional “Waavo”, and his breakout Bollywood moment “Saiyaara”. “‘Teri Yaad’ will always be special to me. It’s the first song I ever wrote and revisiting it years later feels like reconnecting with the younger version of myself. It holds the same vulnerability but now carries the strength of experience”.

It’s rare to revisit an artist’s earliest work with the tools and maturity we have now and my aim was to create a soundscape that feels timeless”

Rooted in remembrance and the aftermath of deep love, “Teri Yaad” meditates on how memories linger even after separation. Faheem weaves electronic textures with folk-inspired sounds, creating a lush sonic landscape that feels both intimate and expansive. The track’s layered production allows the raw vulnerability of his voice to shine, striking a delicate balance between grandeur and emotional honesty.
