Mumbai, 15th November 2025: Diya Yadalam releases her debut single ‘Tell Me’, a tender yet introspective track that introduces her as one of the promising new voices of India’s independent music scene. With its dreamy textures and emotional clarity, ‘Tell Me’, captures the ache of searching for honesty in an increasingly fleeting world.
Produced by Grammy Professional Member Richard Andrew Dudley, the song drifts gently between vulnerability and contemplation. Built on lush harmonies, whispered sentiment, and an understated groove, ‘Tell Me’, feels both intimate enough to whisper in your ear and cinematic enough to fill a quiet night with emotion. Diya tugged at the threads of truth and illusion, offering a delicate reflection on what it means to crave something real — a connection rooted in sincerity, not surface.

Influenced by the atmospheric worlds of Billie Eilish, Clairo, and Lana Del Rey, Diya creates a space where softness becomes strength. The accompanying music video extends this theme visually, playing with transparency, reflection, and the blurred edges between what we see and what we feel.

“Working on ‘Tell Me’ has been nothing short of a dream and I can’t thank anyone except Richard Andrew Dudley, my amazing mentor and the wonderful support system at Moksha Academy”, shares Diya.
Born and raised in a music-filled home in Bangalore, Diya began writing her own songs at just eight years old, shaped by the melodies and stories that surrounded her. With ‘Tell Me’, she opens the first chapter of a promising artistic journey — one that will continue with her debut EP scheduled for release in 2026, exploring themes of emotional growth, truth, and vulnerability with her signature gentle honesty.
