Amazon Music celebrates love, longing & music with the album launch of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’
The power of music, storytelling and emotion came alive at the grand launch of Tere Ishk Mein’s album by Amazon Music India.
Mumbai, 13th November 2025: Dhanush and Kriti Sanon are all set to charm audiences with their intense musical love story, Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, backed by Bhushan Kumar, releasing in cinemas on 28th November 2025. To celebrate the film’s much-awaited musical journey, Amazon Music India, in association with T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, hosted an intimate, star-studded album launch at the Royal Opera House. The exclusive evening came alive with love, melody and magic, graced by music maestro A. R. Rahman, filmmaker Aanand L Rai, producer Bhushan Kumar, and the film’s leads Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, along with celebrated singers Shilpa Rao and Sukhwinder Singh.
“Tere Ishk Mein is a story that truly moved me from the very beginning. It’s passionate, emotional and deeply musical, and every scene feels alive because of A. R. Rahman Sir’s incredible soundtrack. Working with Aanand L Rai and Dhanush has been such a beautiful experience; their energy and sensitivity towards storytelling made this journey unforgettable. I’m so excited for audiences to feel the love, pain and magic that this film holds”, Kriti Sanon said.
The event saw A. R. Rahman take centre stage, unveiling all the tracks from Tere Ishk Mein alongside the Sunshine Orchestra in a mesmerising live showcase. From the soulful title track with Shilpa Rao, to the upbeat “Jigar Dhanda”, the heartfelt “Usey Kehna” with Nitesh, the energetic “UPSC” with Sukhwinder Singh, and the evocative “Deewana,” by the man himself A. R. Rahman – every performance brought a distinct flavour of love and emotion to life. The album’s music seamlessly blends feeling and melody, capturing Rahman’s unmatched ability to turn emotion into an unforgettable soundscape.
Talking about the music of the film, music maestro A. R. Rahman said, “Our journey started with Raanjhanaa, continued with Atrangi Re, and now, the journey reaches Tere Ishk Mein. As the lineage carries forward, with it, the music must evolve, connecting the soul of these stories while reinventing itself each time. With Tere Ishk Mein, we present a soundtrack of nine heartfelt tracks, crafted with passion, creativity, and love. We’ve poured our hearts into this album and hope it resonates with the audience. A huge thanks to Irshad Kamil, Aanand L Rai, Himanshu, Bhushan and all our incredible singers and my musicians who’ve brought this music to life.”
Further talking about the film and its music, director Aanand L Rai added, “Tere Ishk Mein is a story that comes straight from the heart. It’s about love in its rawest, most vulnerable form, and the choices people make for what they believe in. Rahman sir understood those emotions in a way only he can, and each of his compositions gave voice to those emotions while Irshad Saab’s writing gave them a language. What Rahman sir created, what Irshad Saab penned, and what Bhushan believed in, came from the space Dhanush and Kriti built together. Every song, every frame carries a piece of that shared passion.”

The film directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, is an A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film is scheduled to release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 28th November 2025.
