Equal parts cheeky and thoughtful, the track offers a fresh perspective on love, communication, and self-discovery, setting the tone for an ambitious run of releases ahead.

Known for his genre-fluid sound and deeply personal storytelling, ABHI continues to blur borders, both cultural and musical. Born in India and raised in Canada, his global upbringing fuels a sonic identity that seamlessly weaves R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, EDM, and Indian musical influences into a cohesive, contemporary sound.

ABHI shares, “21 Questions is a Punjabi R&B/Pop record told from a guy’s perspective, playfully asking the real questions that actually matter. Cheeky, honest, and light-hearted, the song explores the thoughts we often keep to ourselves when getting to know someone new. The single serves as the first glimpse into ABHI’s evolving creative arc. From releasing his debut rap EP Light Out at just 17, to refusing to be boxed into any one genre, his journey has been defined by exploration and growth. Over the years, ABHI has deepened his craft by studying Indian classical music alongside Western styles, bringing nuance and authenticity to his songwriting.

His recent projects, including the Journey Over Destination EP and breakout single “Heartbreaker”, which won Best Music Video 2025 at the Canadian International Film Festival, have cemented his reputation as an artist unafraid to experiment while staying emotionally grounded.

Following “21 Questions,” ABHI is set to release three singles back-to-back in 2026, each revealing a different facet of his musical universe. The second release, “Jaan Jaan” featuring Neo Tempus & Kadiri, leans into Afro R&B Pop, infused with a sense of SRK-era nostalgia. The third, “Under The Stars,” is an intimate acoustic R&B love song written as a wedding gift for his wife — a deeply personal moment captured in music.

Beyond singles, ABHI is also preparing to unveil “Direction Over Speed,” an upcoming EP and sequel to Journey > Destination (2024). Much like its predecessor, the five-track, multi-genre project will be accompanied by a digital comic book, centered around the character GUGU. Set in the year 2080, the original sci-fi narrative imagines a fractured Earth split into multiple surviving worlds, merging music, storytelling, and cinematic world-building into one immersive experience.
