Talwiinder - Paiinted Feeliing - Mangda Wapis Kyun

Talwiinder Continues His ‘Paiinted Feeliings’ Journey With ‘Mangda Wapis Kyun’ Feat. Kidjaywest

Mumbai, 8th October 2026: Talwiinder returns with ‘Mangda Wapis Kyun’, the second release from his much-anticipated EP ‘Paiinted Feeliings’, in collaboration with Kidjaywest. Following the opening track ‘Assay Passay’, the new song explores the complicated moment when someone who once walked away suddenly wants to return. Whether driven by regret, genuine longing or an inability to let go, the track captures the emotional push and pull between two people questioning whether there is anything left to return to.

Written and performed by Talwiinder, ‘Mangda Wapis Kyun’ unfolds the story through two perspectives. Kidjaywest steps into the boy’s head through his rap, while Talwiinder takes on the girl’s side of the conversation, giving both voices space within the narrative. At the heart of the song is a question familiar to anyone who has experienced an unexpected return from the past: why does someone want you back after being the one who let you go?

For Talwiinder, the song is also one for the women who have had to deal with this familiar situation. He shares, “I think we’ve all seen that person who comes back once they realise they messed up. Sometimes they genuinely miss you, and sometimes it’s just a habit of wanting what they can’t have anymore. I wanted to make a song for the girls who have already moved on and don’t need to explain themselves again. If he comes back, play this for him.”

With ‘Paiinted Feeliings’, Talwiinder continues to explore emotions that often remain beneath everyday moments, the feelings people replay, question and sometimes leave unspoken. While ‘Assay Passay’ looked outward at how the world around us can shape who we become, ‘Mangda Wapis Kyun’ turns inward, focusing on the uncertainty of someone from the past returning when you have already moved forward. The track adds another emotionally driven chapter to Talwiinder’s evolving EP journey, pairing introspective storytelling with Kidjaywest’s rap perspective.
