Madverse Launches Empower Fund 3.0 To Invest ₹3 Lakh In India’s Independent Music Talent

Mumbai, 18th July 2026: India’s independent music movement is getting a major boost as Madverse Music Group announces the launch of Empower Fund 3.0, an initiative designed to help emerging artists turn their creative ambitions into sustainable careers. At a time when independent musicians are producing some of the country’s most exciting music, access to funding, industry exposure, and promotional support remains a significant challenge. The third edition of Empower Fund aims to bridge that gap by investing ₹3 lakh into three promising artists while providing them with valuable industry opportunities, including editorial support, playlisting, and access to All About Music 2026.

Unlike conventional music competitions, Empower Fund 3.0 focuses on empowering artists who are already building their careers rather than simply discovering new talent. This year’s initiative will select three independent musicians, each receiving support worth ₹1 lakh, comprising ₹50,000 in direct financial assistance and ₹50,000 worth of promotional and industry benefits to help launch their next single, EP, or album. Beyond the monetary support, winners will gain access to mentorship, increased visibility, and networking opportunities that can significantly accelerate their journey within India’s rapidly evolving music ecosystem.

Speaking about the initiative, Rohan Jain, Founder and CEO of Madverse Music Group, said, “Independent artists don’t just need distribution anymore, they need capital, visibility and the right ecosystem to grow sustainably,” said Rohan Jain, Founder and CEO, Madverse Music Group. “Empower Fund was created to support artists at a stage where even modest financial backing and the right exposure can make a meaningful difference to their journey”.

Applications for Empower Fund 3.0 are open from July 16 to July 31, 2026, exclusively for Madverse subscribers based in India planning to release unreleased music through the platform this year. Winners will be announced on August 7, following evaluation by an esteemed jury comprising music journalist Amit Gurbaxani, producer and artist development mentor Prayag Mehta, and music technology entrepreneur Rohan Jain. As independent music continues to reshape India’s cultural landscape, initiatives like Empower Fund demonstrate that investing in artists, not just their music, may be the industry’s most powerful step forward.
