‘All My Life’ is Tasha Keswani’s heartfelt reminder to cherish the now

Mumbai, 4^th July 2025: Tasha Keswani recently released ‘All My Life’. She penned this gratitude song in January 2022 after pandemic reflections made her realise how easy it is for us all to get lost in the ‘what if’s’ and the ‘what next’s’ of life when we are not mindful of the present. ‘All My Life’ was born at a moment during the pandemic when Tasha found that her thoughts and feelings of the past, future and the world were snatching away her ability to enjoy the little things that make up the present moment.

The singer-songwriter first wrote the lines “There’ll come a day when I sit and pray, to be back here come what may” expressing the valuable nature of the present moment, making it a point not to allow special moments to pass her by. The precious moments Tasha refers to in this song are the simple joys with her family. The moments of laughter, love and conversation. Moments that were getting overshadowed by her thoughts. She observed that the more mindful and grateful she was, the fonder her memories are to look back on. A way of life that the artist now lives by. The writer has observed that as a society, we have mostly come to live a life where the present moment is taken for granted until it becomes a memory that one longs to be back in. The process of writing this song was cathartic for me as it made me appreciate the value of the present moment.
