Written by Kumaar, Ahsan Pervaiz Mehndi and Rup Magon, ‘Flight Mode’ explores individuality, creative freedom and breaking away from societal expectations. The track reflects Magon’s personal decision to step beyond his identity with JoSH and discover his independent artistic voice. “After nearly three decades with JoSH, I felt it was time to step out on my own, disconnect from the noise and fly on my own terms. Flight Mode is about freeing ourselves from the boxes we are placed in. It is also about my own journey of change and finding the courage to express myself differently,” shares Magon.

Produced by Magon, Ahsan Pervaiz Mehndi and Deep Jandu, the song brings a liberating and energetic quality to his new musical direction. His second release, ‘Without You’, explores a more introspective side of Sufi Funk. Featuring Sojiii, the track carries two interpretations: the longing for a loved one and the spiritual yearning to reconnect with one’s murshid, or spiritual guide. Built around the refrain ‘Tere Bina’, it blends Eastern melodies with understated funk rhythms. Written by Ahsan Pervaiz Mehndi, Rup Magon and Sojiii, the track is produced by Magon and Deep Jandu.

With ‘Flight Mode’ and ‘Without You’, Magon presents two complementary sides of his artistic evolution: breaking free from expectations and discovering what the heart seeks once that freedom arrives. Both tracks will feature on ‘Disrupt’, which aims to challenge conventional musical boundaries through cultural influences and personal storytelling. The project also reflects his interest in questioning established ideas and expressing changing perspectives through music. Marking his first independent chapter after years with JoSH, Magon is building towards a full-length solo album expected in mid-2027. ‘Flight Mode’ is out now, while ‘Without You’ featuring Sojiii releases November 6, 2026, through Magon Entertainment Inc.
