Mumbai, 5^th September 2026: Miley Cyrus is officially entering a new musical era with ‘Bass Persuades’, the title track from her upcoming tenth studio album. Released on September 4, the propulsive dance-pop single arrives with an energetic music video directed by Mert Alas. Built around Eighties-inspired synths and a driving beat, the track takes aim at a generation increasingly glued to screens. Its central message is simple: if music makes you move, why stay still?

The accompanying visual turns that idea into a full-blown dance-floor takeover. In the Mert Alas-directed video, Miley finds herself in a New York poker club before transforming the setting into an unexpected party.
