Mumbai, 4th September 2026: Amid the rebellion and intensity of The Revolutionaries, ‘Maahiya’ arrives as a refreshing celebration of love. Presented by T-Series, the soothing romantic track captures the quiet joy of finding someone who means everything to you. Composed by Akashdeep Sengupta, the song features the soulful voices of Neeti Mohan and Tushar Joshi. Penned by Tolia Lavraj Singh and Gaurab Chakraborty, ‘Maahiya’ celebrates affection, companionship and the simple magic of being in love.
Musically, ‘Maahiya’ takes a gentle approach to romance. Its easy-going arrangement allows the melody and vocals to remain at the heart of the track. The lyrics repeatedly return to the woman at the centre of the story, expressing admiration for her presence and the meaning she brings into his world. Neeti Mohan says she particularly loved how the song makes the woman he loves the centre of every emotion. Together, Neeti and Tushar bring warmth and tenderness to a song built around pure, effortless affection.

The music video further brings the romantic story to life through Sachindra Nath Sanyal, played by Rohit Saraf, and Pratibha Lahiri, played by Pratibha Ranta. Set against moonlit rooftops, the visuals capture their playful interactions before gradually transitioning into an intimate dance. Choreographed by Kruti Mahesh, the sequence gives ‘Maahiya’ a cinematic quality while reflecting the budding romance between the two characters. The result is a softer emotional window into a series otherwise driven by rebellion, conflict and the fight for freedom.
Speaking about the song, Neeti Mohan shares, “Maahiya is such a beautiful and soothing song, and I really loved the warmth that comes through in its melody and lyrics. What I particularly love is the way the song celebrates the woman he loves, making her the centre of every emotion and finding a beautiful way to tell her that she means everything to him. There is something very pure and effortless about that feeling, and Tushar and I had a lovely time bringing it to life. I hope listeners enjoy its soft, romantic energy and find their own beautiful moments of love in it.”
Created and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nikkhil Advani, The Revolutionaries is a period drama inspired by true events. Produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment, the series draws from Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestseller Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom. With Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada leading the cast, the series also features Jason Shah, Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Against this larger historical canvas, ‘Maahiya’ offers a welcome moment of warmth, reminding audiences that even stories shaped by revolution can leave space for love.
