Mumbai, 2nd April 2021: Alexx ONell’s Twenty Days is a song that captures the greys of a relationship and has conveyed human emotions in a very authentic form.

Twenty Days starts with a melodious short key board riff which quickly translates to a larger music arrangement setting the tone for the song from the very beginning. With a beautiful acoustic guitar leading to the start of the lyrics, Twenty Days quickly touches the emotional chord from the very beginning.

The song is an ode to an impending separation created by circumstances, a feeling most of the people around the world have gone through. From lyrical perspective, it is sound in its writing and will strike a note with the listeners. The writer has stayed true to the emotive aspect of the situation for the which song has been composed.

Music arrangement for the song syncs well with the lyrics, catching up with the tempo and slowing it down where it must. The use of acoustic guitar, key board and other instruments enhance the overall impact of the song. I specially loved the subtle use of acoustic guitar, the only rhythm-in-parts of the song, to give the song a more relatable connect with the lyrics and giving the song a calming effect after pithing up the tempo.

The picturisation of the song is appealing and also a reflective of the overall treatment of the song and its lyrics. The Black and White filming, with Shama Sikander creating a magic on screen that someone like her can, is well in sync with the composition.

The vocals, of course, are smooth and surely, we would love to hear more from Alexx. For me, this song is a must listen and when the song ends, you are bound to experience a sudden silence around you, a feeling of unexplained emptiness and a desire to seek love in its entirety. This song is sure to have an impact on you!
